This place is perfect for a vacation with a stunning sea view and spacious, elegantly decorated rooms.

The location was very good, so one could easily walk to the shops and restaurants. We managed to park outside the entrance, but I wonder how easy it would be to park in the high season. The Breakfast was also good and the rooms clean and modern. The Shower doors were not high quality, like the rest of the fittings.
The vacant house next door is a very ugly site to look at from our room !!

Really helpful hotel employees all round. A minibar, satellite television, and climate control in the room and the great bed. Great breakfast to start the day.

The location of Sole Mare in Ventimiglia is excellent, just a 4-6 minute walk from Fortezza dell'annunziata. Our standard double room with a sea view was great, featuring a comfortable queen bed and all the usual amenities.

The value for money at the hotel was great, and the room wasnice and neat. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, and the staff treated us very well.
Breakfast choices could have been better with a wider variety of options.

I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel, it was fairly clean and wonderful. The room was neat and had a newly renovated bathroom. The breakfast was good and included. The location was excellent and amazing, walk from a bus stop. And next to bars and restaurants, it was a bonus. The stay was absolutely very relaxing!

Nothing is inexpensive in Italy by U.S. standards, but this little place is fairly priced by compairison. It's in walking distance of the city center and several good restaurants -- the restaurant in the hotel, Basta Pasta, was one of the best meals we had over our two week trip. The manager (owner?) Pierre is a great host, eager to assist and he didn't even scream when I put eggs in the cooker without piercing them first. When we go back ti Italy we'll certainly try to stay here.

Nice view from room with balcony overlooking the sea
Breakfast of poor quality with limited choice. Also major building work across road so constant noise from 7am to 5pm.

We spent four days with Sole Mare and we were exceedingly happy. We found the atmosphere a happy and contented one, with pleasant and helpful staff. We intend to return in the very near future and will recommend it to our friends.
There is just one thing that we would have preferred during our stay that is we would have liked to have had a shower cubicle rather than the bath and hand shower. This, of course, is just a personnal preference.
